Broom Making FAQs

there is a $50 deposit. What is that for?

$50 (plus sales tax) is required to hold your spot for all workshops, and this will go towards your broom when finished.  We will deduct your $50 from the total price of your broom.

Can my friend/family stay and watch?

No. Because our shop is small, you can only stay if you are making a broom. If your friend/family doesn't want to make a broom, we suggest they check out the many shops and restaurants on Pickering Wharf while you craft. The one exception is if you are the only one signed up for the class, then they are welcome to stay and watch. Thank you so much for understanding!

How much does it cost?

  • Small brooms - $59
  • Medium brooms - $69
  • Full size Brooms - $89
  • This includes instruction fee and materials. $50 deposit (plus $3.12 sales tax) is required for all workshops. $50 will be deducted from your session.

what are your broom sizes. can i take my broom on an airplane?

When assembled, the average broom sizes are: small = 21", medium = 33", large = 55-60". It's best to check with your airline to see if they will let you on with your broom. If not, there is a UPS store close by, and the post office isn't too far as well. The Witchery doesn't ship brooms once they are made. We do, however, ship broom kits to go!

I'm running late for my session. what IS YOUR POLICY?

If you are running more than 5 minutes late, please note we may not be able to start over for you. We often have a waitlist and people are eager to take your seat! Thank you for understanding.
