Oaks have been revered as symbols of strength and abundance throughout history, but did you know that you can use its tannins to make ink? Join The Mushroom Witch and learn the steps to craft your own ink from acorns. A hand-bound book deserves handcrafted ink, so if you've taken (or plan to take) a bookbinding class, this is for you. Each participant will take home a bottle of sepia brown or black ink, which you can use in your Grimoire, Book of Shadows, nature journal, and more.

Join us later this summer for the first in a series of insect pinning workshops from Preserved by Elliot. These workshops will be hosted by The Witchery once a month with each workshop featuring a completely new species of insect! August's species is the Sawtooth Stag Beetle; native to New Guinea, this iridescent green insect boasts impressive mandibles and offers a fantastic starting point in your bug pinning journey. After pinning your sawtooth stag beetle, you won't be able to resist joining The Witchery and Preserved by Elliot for the remainder of the series. Keep an eye here on our events page and on social media for updates on the rest of the workshops in this series.
